Stichting Team Cheerleading Nederland was formed in 2018 by and for athletes of the Dutch National Coed Cheerleading team. The athletes felt a need to have an organization with which they could centralize all the aspects that come with participating at the World Cheerleading Championships.
By taking away duties and work from the athletes, it provides the time and room for the athletes to focus what is most important during their season: preparing to represent your country at the biggest stage in cheerleading in the world!
The organization is looking to grow the equipe and since 2023 an All-girl selected team has been added. Towards the future TCNL is planning to expand the equipe with 2 junior-teams (All-girl and Coed), an Adaptive abilities team and a Special abilities team.
